Overview

What is Full body laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal targets the pigment in the hair follicle to reduce regrowth over time. We treat the face and full body, including arms, legs, underarms and back.

Because hair grows in cycles, a course of sessions is needed. Settings are chosen for your skin type, so treatment is safe and effective on brown skin.

Benefits

  • Long-term hair reduction
  • Face and full body
  • Fewer ingrown hairs
  • Less time spent waxing or threading
  • Settings for brown skin

Is it right for you?

Often a good fit for

  • Unwanted facial or body hair
  • Ingrown hairs and razor bumps
  • Excess hair from conditions such as PCOS, alongside medical care

We may advise waiting, or another option, with

  • Recent tanning
  • Pregnancy
  • Very light, grey or white hair, which the laser cannot target well
  • Light-sensitive conditions or medicines

Suitability is always confirmed in person, at your consultation.

How it works

  1. 01

    Patch test

A test spot checks how your skin responds.

  2. 02

    Shave

The area is shaved, so the laser targets the root rather than the surface.

  3. 03

    Laser

Cooling is used throughout. Most people describe a quick snap.

  4. 04

    Calm

Soothing gel and sunscreen are applied.

Before and after

Before your visit

  • Shave the area the day before
  • Do not wax, thread or pluck for four weeks
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for two weeks

Aftercare

  • Avoid the sun and use SPF on treated skin
  • Skip hot showers, saunas and the gym for 24 hours
  • Shave only between sessions, never wax or pluck

Possible side effects

  • Redness and small bumps for a few hours
  • Temporary darkening or lightening of the skin
  • Rarely, blistering, which is why we patch test

Every risk is explained before you decide. Results vary from person to person.
