Overview

What is Full laser?

Full laser is a face treatment that uses targeted light energy to fade pigmentation, reduce sun damage and improve skin clarity. Settings are matched to your skin type after an assessment, never a one-size setting.

Results build over a course of sessions. Daily sun protection is part of the plan, because it keeps the results you have worked for.

Benefits

  • Fades pigmentation and sun spots
  • Evens out tone
  • Improves clarity and texture
  • Settings for brown skin
  • Little to no downtime

Is it right for you?

Often a good fit for

  • Pigmentation and sun damage
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Dull, tired-looking skin
  • Rough texture

We may advise waiting, or another option, with

  • Recent tanning or sun exposure
  • Pregnancy
  • Isotretinoin within the last six months
  • Light-sensitive conditions or medicines

Suitability is always confirmed in person, at your consultation.

How it works

  1. 01

    Assessment

Your skin type is checked and a patch test is done before the first session.

  2. 02

    Protect

Eye protection is fitted and the skin is cleansed.

  3. 03

    Laser

The laser passes across the face. A warm, snapping feeling is normal.

  4. 04

    Calm

The skin is cooled and protected with sunscreen.

Before and after

Before your visit

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for two weeks
  • Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids a few days before, as advised
  • Come with clean skin, free of makeup and fragrance

Aftercare

  • Use a broad-spectrum SPF 50 every day, reapplying outdoors
  • Keep the skin cool and avoid hot showers, saunas and the gym for 24 – 48 hours
  • Use only the gentle products we recommend until the skin settles

Possible side effects

  • Redness and warmth for a few hours
  • Temporary darkening of spots before they fade
  • Rarely, blistering or pigment change, which is why we patch test

Every risk is explained before you decide. Results vary from person to person.

Full laser: your questions

Is laser safe for brown skin?

Yes, with the right laser and settings. That is why we assess your skin type and patch test first.

When will I see results?

Some people see brighter skin after the first session, with pigmentation fading over the course.
