Overview
What is Acne laser?
Acne laser uses light energy to calm inflamed breakouts, reduce redness and target the bacteria and oil behind acne. It is combined with a simple home-care routine so the results last.
For active acne, laser is one part of a plan that may include skincare and, where needed, medical treatment. Acne scars are treated separately, often with microneedling.

- Come with clean skin, free of makeup and fragrance
Aftercare
- Use a broad-spectrum SPF 50 every day, reapplying outdoors
- Keep the skin cool and avoid hot showers, saunas and the gym for 24 – 48 hours
- Use only the gentle products we recommend until the skin settles
Possible side effects

- A temporary breakout as the skin clears
- Rarely, pigment change
Every risk is explained before you decide. Results vary from person to person.
Acne laser: your questions
Will acne laser cure my acne?
It can calm acne a lot, but acne can return. A home routine and follow-up keep it under control.
Does it treat acne scars?
Acne laser targets active acne. For scars, we usually recommend microneedling or a resurfacing plan.
