Overview
What is Liposuction?
Liposuction removes stubborn, localised fat through small incisions, to contour areas such as the abdomen, flanks, arms, thighs and back. It is a contouring procedure, not a weight-loss treatment.
A full medical assessment decides whether it is right for you. You receive a written recovery plan before you decide, and every consultation is completely private.

Liposuction: your questions
Is liposuction a weight-loss treatment?
No. It is a contouring procedure for stubborn, localised fat. You should be close to a stable, healthy weight first.
Will the fat come back?
The fat cells removed do not return, but remaining cells can grow if weight increases.
When can I go back to work?
Usually after one to two weeks, depending on the area and your job.
